I have known Pat for over 30 years, first as a respected colleague at Halesowen College and then as a very close friend. My wife Margery and I have shared many experiences together with Pat and her devoted husband Richard from walks with and without dogs and shared breaks away both in this country and abroad. Many, many happy memories! Pat could be infuriating, as can we all, those who knew her will know that timekeeping and punctuality was not one her virtues. Pat as an owl could sometimes test the patience of us larks! However, she was very good company, witty and amusing and dearly loved. She will be very sorely missed. John
